The Double tax treaty between Cyprus and Egypt signed

On October 8^th 2019 The Cyprus Ministry of Finance has announced that Cyprus has signed a new Double Tax Treaty with the Arab Republic of Egypt.
 
The Double Tax Treaty according to the Cypriot Ministry of Finance is based on the latest OECD and United Nations models of Double Tax Conventions. The Double Tax Treaty is not yet in force as both governments have to undertake certain legal ratification procedures to replace the existing Double Tax Treaty which was signed in 1993.
